Beginning only as a side project to his long time commitment with Ontario based hard rock group The Entropy, Grant Boyer’s developing solo career has become an attention worthy endeavor. Numerous hard rock tours, albums and late nights never seem to get old in this scene but neither does a hard rocker settling down with an acoustic guitar in a gentle setting.Grant Boyer’s debut ‘self titled’ solo release, released in December 2009, has been a long time coming yet a worthwhile wait. His debut record omits a much softer and soothing form of artistic expression, much different than you may have heard from his previous material with The Entropy. Although his plans are to stay on the big stage supporting a much more aggressive delivery of music, you can now sit and enjoy a more soothing release of emotion.
